Well, this isn’t so much of an update, really. There are times when the thought of adding a puzzle to the site does not appeal – e.g. after clueing 75% of a Beelzebub, as well as gridding a BBC Music Magazine puzzle (nice grid, though…May issue…), in the course of a muggy 30C or thereabouts weekend. And that seems to be the case here. If we open any more windows we may develop our own localised anticyclone.
The fact that the barbecue’s lit also plays a part, I suppose.
So I shall content myself with a note regarding The Times on Monday 25, the Telegraph Toughie on Wednesday 27 and the EV next Sunday (31 January). That EV is called Star Quality – it will, of course, be blogged at the appropriate time. But the next fortnightly update (weather permitting…) will precede the blog, while adumbrating it. And you don’t get a lot of adumbration these days.
