This is a complex puzzle with four separate grids. It’s also quite extensive in terms of the number of clues, so for once I’m not representing it directly on the page, but only as a pdf. I’m also including the solution pdf on the same page. Anyone who has difficulty opening a pdf is welcome to contact me via a comment – I have Word versions of the files as well.
Another advantage of the pdf is that it is possible to give the puzzle its proper Cyrillic alphabet title – I’ve had no success in persuading WordPress to accommodate the characters either as a page title or in the body of the text.
One unexpected element is a set of four new clues – when I checked my typed record of the puzzle I found one set of clues was absent. I’d only kept a copy of the original solution grid, not the puzzle as printed, so I had to rustle up four new ones.
