Update 26 January

The puzzle this fortnight once again looks right back to a now-defunct publication which 30+ years was bringing forth some of my earliest efforts.  This one is a Playfair too, though cipher-phobes shouldn’t be put off, as you probably won’t need to do any major deciphering.  However, in a week when I’ve gridded a puzzle including a 14-letter answer including a J, a Q and a Z (guesses, anyone? I will say that it is findable in Chambers Dictionary and the ODE), then Playfair codewords are bound to come to mind.
