As I rather anticipated, there is rather a lot of jetlag rattling round the system, and thus a distinct lack of enthusiasm for putting a puzzle up. Sorry – the one I have in mind for a fortnight’s time is a nice one, though!
I do have, however, quite a few ideas for future weeks. Not just puzzles (there’ll be another unpublished Beelzebub along in due course, for instance), but also some thoughts on and links to Australasian crosswords, and some reviews of crossword materials I picked up in the US. The latter have been posted from the US to avoid giving Qantas a heart attack over the weight of our luggage. They are even now winging their way south-west, having paused only to kick a large hole in my bank account with postage fees.
I am also going to put into action some of the ideas I picked up at the conference, but that’s going to entail downloading things and getting them to work, so won’t happen all at once.
Meanwhile a note that we did eventually manage to find some rainclouds in Arizona. It got quite dramatic after this, though we never quite managed to capture a fork of lightning.
